Amber Heard Trolled For Thanking Supporters After Her ‘Aquaman’ Return

A fairytale romance turned into an ugly courtroom drama for Amber Heard in 2022. The legal case tanked the reputation of Johnny Depp and later Heard faced the brunt of it. While Depp lost the deal with brands and film franchises, the actress became a subject of mere mockery.

However, the pair’s highly publicized legal dispute ended in a verdict with Heard’s domestic violence allegation purely being defamatory. While Depp gained the public sympathy, Amber was trolled for her false claims. Also, the actress made a comeback in ‘Aquaman Returns’ alongside Jason Momoa. In a highly toned-down role, she expressed her gratitude to fans, but trolling awaited her this time as well.

Amber Heard Expresses Her Gratitude For Support For ‘Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom’

On Instagram, Amber Heard thanked her fans for supporting her return as Mera in ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ and acknowledged the overwhelming support the film and her role received. Recently, the actress faced trolling for her limited screen time of 20 minutes with only 11 lines in the film.

In the caption of the post, Heard wrote, “After all this time, Aquaman 2 made its splash (sorry, it’s too easy) Thank you to all of my fans for the overwhelming support and love in Mera’s AQ return.” She shared a behind-the-scenes sneak peek, which included footage of her training for the physical demands of her role in ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ and also a picture with her daughter Oonagh Paige.

Netizens trolled ‘The Run Dairy’ actress saying, “I didn’t know she had fans.” Another fan wrote, “The pictures she posted are old from 2 years ago or more on the set of AQ2. She has no shame at all she’s posting them after the fact and after WB and the whole cast ghosted her. She should be embarrassed but how else will she keep in the public eye.”

A user stated, “The audacity of this woman, she doesn’t care the movie flopped because of her it’s all about her, me me me me me me.”

After a jury determined that Johnny Depp was defamed by Heard, there were reports that the actress decided to leave Hollywood behind, shifting to Europe since the verdict but her comeback in ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ says otherwise. She confirmed that she loves living in Spain to People in 2023. Whether Heard will keep being in the film business remains to be seen.
