Minnie Driver embraces casual cool in maxi-dress and trainers as she steps out with wet hair and no make-up

She certainly knows how to put together a chic red carpet look after decades in the industry.

But Minnie Driver also proved that she could do casual cool as she stepped out in a loose-fitting maxi-dress and high-top trainers in Beverly Hills on Thursday.

The 43-year-old actress clearly wasn’t bothered about being spotted out and about without any make-up on as she went fresh-faced and with wet hair.

The London-born star, who currently resides in Los Angeles, smiled to herself as she wandered along the street, having clearly not had much time before leaving the house.

But Minnie proved that she was no A-list diva, obviously unfazed by the fact that she was spotted out looking a little less than glamorous.

The actress left her trademark dark, curly hair loose and completely wet, perhaps hoping that the blazing sun would dry it out for her.

And she clearly wasn’t worried about piling on the make-up, making the most of her fresh-faced complexion and covering her face with a pair of retro-style sunglasses.

The mother-of-one proved that she can put together an edgy daytime look, standing out in the grey maxi-dress which had a picture of an eagle and a skull on the front.

She carried a large grey shopper on one arm and decided on a pair of grungy trainers rather than flip-flops or sandals.

Minnie, who recently starred in Brit flick I Give It A Year, is set to hit the big screen again later this years in Stage Fright and Return To Zero.

She’ll also be starring in the new TV series About A Boy, opposite David Walton, based on the hit 2002 Hugh Grant film.

The actress recently appeared on the BBC’s Who Do You Think You Are, where she discovered the truth about her father’s side of the family.
