Oscar Dresses: Our Red Carpet Predictions Right Here

Who’s excited for the Oscars? Yep, us too! Danica, Fawnia, Nikki, and I have had the best time (ever!) presenting the best-dressed celebs of awards season to you since the the first Louboutin-footed starlet hit the Golden Globes red carpet in January. But now, the mother of all red carpets is upon us, and here are some of the fabulous gowns that I hope we’ll see on the likes of Cate Blanchett, Amy Adams, Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Thompson, Julia Roberts, and Meryl (no surname needed).

Everything about this Giambattista Valli Couture dress is perfect. The pop of violet, the curve of the peplum, the elegant white column…I would really like to see Amy Adams in this.

Jennifer Lawrence has worn her fair share of Dior, but this red-and-white column from the couture collection be divine on her.

I could see a number of women wearing this dress from the Chanel Haute Couture spring collection. I adore the iridescence.

Julia Roberts has been wearing dresses with sleeves, so this Antonio Berardi is a great option for her. It’s dramatic and glamorous, and it looks fairly comfortable to boot!

This Armani Prive dress is part Joan of Arc, part Grace Kelly. Cate Blanchett, please wear this, would you?

This Atelier Versace dress is my everything. I love the liquid silk neckline and the detailed bodice. I’m dreaming of Sandra Bullock in this.

This dress is meant for a goddess. Meryl, this Jenny Packham is for you!

The J. Mendel fall collection subtly screamed “wear me on the red carpet!” Don’t you love?

Nikki really likes this bold tomato red Marchesa, and I do too! Lupita, thoughts?

Is Jennifer Lopez making an Oscars appearance? Because she would look fab in this Zuhair Murad.
