The Very Best Beauty Looks from Day 2 of Fall/Winter 2014 New York Fashion Week

So far the big trend happening in the beauty looks at Fall/Winter 2014 New York Fashion Week is subtle and low-key with one big (or maybe two, counting nails), bold accent. Here are four looks that caught my eye on the runway and backstage on day 2:

Look 1) The Charlotte Ronson double-headband and black-and-red french mani (by way of Gina Edwards using KISS Press-On Manicure nails).

Look 2) Tess Giberson’s chic black and white nails, created by Jin Soon using two coats of dark gray/metallic black nail polish (the shade Jin used was from her upcoming JINsoon Fall/Winter 2014 Tess Giberson Collection) with JINsoon Kookie White at the tip.

Look 3) The winged liner at Rag & Bone, created by Gucci Westman using a combination of Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen in Black, Revlon ColorStay Cr??me Gel Liner in Black, Revlon ColorStay SKINNY Liquid Liner in Black Out (in-stores June ’14), and Revlon Luxurious Color Eyeliner in Black Velvet. She explains, ” I started with a cr??me liner and then went over it with a liquid liner to create a more precise line.”

Look) The gold-striped scalp with middle hair parts at Suno, created by Odile Gilbert for Kerastase with gold makeup.
