Malia and Sasha Obama Are Fashion Icons in the Making—See Their Cute Looks in China!

Any fashionable lady knows that packing for a seven-day trip is quite the daunting task. But First Daughters Malia and Sasha Obama not only got it done for their trip to China—they shut it down.

The budding fashion icons, who accompanied their chic FLOTUS mom and grandmother, Marian Robinson, for a visit, wowed us with their outfit choices to meet with foreign dignitaries, traverse the Great Wall, and even schedule in some fun with traditional Chinese dancers.

The elegant siblings entered the country looking dignified in jewel-tone minis, tights, and sophisticated sweaters. (Side note: The skirts almost look like the Party Skirts I wrote about this summer.) Love the simplicity of the pearl studs.

Here, the girls hit Beijing to hobnob with Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife, Peng Liyuan. I adore Sasha’s bright belted dress (spot-on for a tween), but 15-year-old Malia wears an enviable matching Topshop set — another prime example of the crop top’s ability to look polished.

Here, at the Forbidden City, the girls are all smiles and in A-lines. I’m personally just so excited to see what extraordinary women the First Daughters become, inside and out.
