December Fridays are simply delightful! They’re filled with festive celebrations, the joy of finding the perfect gift for loved ones, and indulging in baking sessions with cherished family and friends. Well, at least that’s the “Hallmark” version I envision in my mind.

While the reality may not be as flawless as depicted, I am wholeheartedly embracing the joy of baking! It is undoubtedly one of the many reasons why we adore this season the most. Just think about all the delectable cookies that await! As mentioned earlier, my main objective this year is to explore the realm of holiday cookies I have yet to create.

I have an extensive list of cookies, but with limited time to share them. Therefore, I am carefully selecting the absolute best from my list. It’s a challenging task, but I’ve always believed that these cookies deserve to be shared. The combination of ingredients is simply irresistible.

The Steps Are Easy:

Step one: gather your ingredients. You’ll need the essentials… butter, sugar, flour, and so on. Keep it simple, nothing extravagant, but all of high quality.

Step Two: The stir-ins are the crucial elements for these cookies. You will require old-fashioned oats, salted pretzel twists, semi-sweet or dark chocolate chunks, and white chocolate chips. And don’t forget an ample amount of festive red and green holiday M&M’s, as they truly elevate the taste of these cookies.

Step Three: Whisk, blend, stir, and bake.

Steo Four: Four: Indulge in these warm cookies, fresh out of the oven. They are the epitome of gooey deliciousness, a treat worth savoring.

A Couple Notes

Please note that these cookies will spread while baking. They are intentionally designed to have slightly crispy edges and irresistibly soft, gooey centers, just as depicted in the photos. These cookies are my absolute favorite, and they are truly delicious.

For a slightly thicker cookie, just skip the extra egg yolk and use only two eggs. This adjustment will result in a thicker cookie with less spreading.

To enhance the vibrant colors of the M&M’s, I prefer adding a few right before the cookies are fully baked. This ensures that each cookie showcases a delightful touch of the festive M&M’s on its surface.

One of the things I adore about these cookies is their simplicity in preparation. They don’t need to be chilled and truly require minimal effort. This is especially convenient when making Christmas cookies.

These cookies boast perfectly crisp edges, complemented by soft and gooey centers. With a delightful crunch and a hint of saltiness from the pretzels, they represent the epitome of cookie perfection.

I am thrilled to include these delightful treats in this year’s Christmas cookie box. They are absolutely perfect for packaging and giving as heartfelt gifts to friends during the holiday season!

Finally, if you decide to bake these delightful Christmas Monster Cookies, please take a moment to share your thoughts and rate the recipe!
