This Picture Will Make Copying Kim Kardashian’s Smoky Eye Makeup a Lot Easier

Apparently before Kim Kardashian reportedly walked out of the Opera Ball at the Viennese State Opera House, she was rocking a smoky eye makeup look. And, luckily for us, a photographer caught a shot of it when her eyes were closed.

You can really see here exactly how and where her eyes are shaded with almost-black eyeshadow—in a horizontal V that almost reaches the tail of her eyebrow. Then, just above the creases of her eyes there’s a softer gray shade that makes it all look a little hazy and smudgy (in a good way).

Makes everything we usually tell you about copying smoky eye makeup really clear, no? It’s almost like a road map for smokiness.
